1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Recordz, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
2. Use of the Service
Recordz is a vinyl discovery and collection management app. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to access it in unauthorized ways, or use it to harm others.
3. Account Registration
You may create an account using your email or Discogs credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you add to Recordz (collection entries, notes, etc.). By adding content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it within the app and to sync it with connected services like Discogs.
5. User Content & Moderation
Recordz operates a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content, including but not limited to harassment, hate speech, threats, sexually explicit material, illegal content, and impersonation. By using the Service you agree not to post, link to, share, or otherwise transmit such content.
Reporting. Each user-generated comment in the app includes a "Report" action. Reported content is hidden from the reporter's view immediately and queued for review by our moderation team.
Blocking. From any user's profile, tap the menu icon and select "Block" to remove that user's comments and content from your view. You can unblock a user at any time from the same menu.
Our commitment. We act on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours, removing offending content and, where warranted, terminating the offending account. We may take action at our sole discretion in accordance with this policy, our Acceptable Use Policy, and applicable law.
Disclaimer. While we work to remove violations promptly, we cannot guarantee that all objectionable content will be detected or removed before viewing. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of this risk.
6. Pro Subscription
Pro is a paid subscription billed monthly or annually. Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through your device's subscription management (App Store or Google Play). No refunds for partial billing periods.
7. Discogs Integration
Use of the Discogs integration is subject to Discogs' own Terms of Service. We are not responsible for Discogs' actions, availability, or data accuracy.
8. Intellectual Property
Recordz and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Pangea Roads LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app without written permission.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Recordz is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that marketplace prices and record data will be accurate.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pangea Roads LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Recordz.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause. You may delete your account at any time through app settings.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We'll notify you of material changes via the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
