Delete your account.
How to delete your Recordz account and data. Recordz is developed by Pangea Roads LLC.
Option 1: Delete your account in the app
- Open Recordz and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account and tap your profile.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type the confirmation word and tap Delete My Account.
Option 2: Ask us by email
Email [email protected] from the email address on your Recordz account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm the request and delete the account within 30 days. If you signed in with Apple and hid your email, tell us your Recordz username instead.
What we delete
Your account and everything tied to it: your profile (username, display name, avatar, email), likes and favorites, comments, replies and reactions, playlists you own and collaborations, follows of users, artists and labels, your synced collection and wantlist, your Discogs connection tokens, push notification tokens, blocks you made and blocks of you by others, reports you filed and reports about your comments, and your Sign in with Apple token, which we revoke with Apple. In-app deletion removes this data right away.
What we keep, and for how long
Some activity in shared feeds and playlists stays but is no longer linked to you. Product analytics events are kept in pseudonymous form in Amplitude under its standard retention and are not linked to your deleted account. Database backups roll over and are gone within 30 days. Purchase and subscription records are kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings. Data held by Discogs belongs to your Discogs account and is not affected.
