Matchbox Recordings LTD was a new music compilation record label from 1997 - 2014. The company was then acquired by Discover Media Digital a South African company who had moved the label from physical CD's and Vinyl to digital at the height of the Internet 90's MP3 boom.

The label stopped releasing new music compilations and serviced artist releases and is now an archived digital catalogue and label based in South Africa.
