Defunct UK jazz label, founded in 1947 by Colin Pomroy. He began by selling records from his University flat in Putney, London. The earliest of the 78s have "A Pomroy Production" showing round the edge of the label. He moved to several different addresses and often sold the records directly as part of a private club on the understanding that they were not for broadcast, since he did not own the copyright. These were primarily releases on 78 RPM discs, but also some early 45 RPM EPs.
The A series were 'revival' bands and artists, the R series were dubs from old recordings.

In 1953 the Tempo catalogue was acquired by the British Vogue label. Label designs were changed and included "Division of VOGUE RECORDS LTD.".
Labels were then changed again and released under the new name of .

Later on Colin Pomroy founded a company called Selection Records which was responsible for the labels "Jazz Collector" and, slightly later, "Collection Records".
