Record label founded in 1981 by Canadian naturalist and nature sound recorder Dan Gibson. The releases on this label span several music genres, including classical, world, new age, nature-only and original relaxation compositions. Solitudes was acquired by Somerset Entertainment. who in turn were acquired by Mood Entertainment in 2009. In 2013 Solitudes was sold to Allegro Corporation which revived the Somerset name. In December 2015, it was sold to Digital Funding LLC.
