Budget label by EMI, launched in October 1970. It was founded to unify all budget releases by different EMI companies in Europe, excluding the UK. It was coordinated by EMI's Dutch company, EMI-Bovema Holland, also including Germany, Italy, Belgium, France, Spain, Austria, Switzerland and the Scandinavian countries. The material was drawn from EMI's own labels, together with Imperial, Dunhill, Immediate and Pathé. The initial release consisted of 40 pop and 20 classical albums.
