Founded by Hip-Hop artist Darryl "Positive K" Gibson as a means to have better "creative control" over his music and how he releases it to the public and to the record companies he signed with.

Over the years, the company was also referred to as Creative Records (3)
and PosK Records to help give his brand a better connection to his name.
Although they are all the same label, the music released under each name
can be found under their respective listings.
