Record pressing plant that operated in Wyandanch, New York (Long Island) 1979-1985. They pressed many independent label releases from the New York / New Jersey area, as well as a large number of unlicensed recordings.

Most releases will have an associated string in the vinyl matrix runouts in the format PRI-XXX or XXX-PRI. A few known matrix numbers appear mistakenly as "PR1". This string may be entered in the "catalog number" field of the LCCN alongside "PRI Record Pressing" in the "Pressed By" role. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be much rhyme or reason to their numbering system, so it can not be used to date a release at this time.

Many 7" releases also come in a white inner sleeve with the PRI name and address printed at the bottom on one side. 12"/LP pressings may have a black innersleeve with no hole and the PRI name and address printed at bottom-right of both sides. Some printed covers indicate "Printed and Pressed by PRI Record Pressing" as a credit; with or without an associated "PRI" matrix. Many of these releases were also mastered by Trutone Mastering Labs.

PRI sometimes pressed primitive picture discs made by cutting the cover art of a release in a circle and encasing it in a clear vinyl pressing. These were very limited pressings, with one of the better known being . Any bootleg picture disc from the early-to-mid 1980s made in this fashion (probably including the well-known and many others) was likely pressed at PRI, which was known for producing bootlegs at that time and eventually got in trouble with the authorities for it.

Unfortunately, many legitimate artists lost their master tapes and stampers as a result of the shutdown of this operation, including The Misfits.
