Dub techno label run by Rod Modell and Mike Schommer, based in Detroit, USA. Output is in a similar vein to the likes of Basic Channel, but the sound is a little more refined. Also appears as two words: Deep Chord. The label uses the phrase only as one word in two different font sizes, 'chord' being written in a smaller type.

Releases 7-9 were re-pressed in small amounts for the DEMF 2001. These re-presses were marked with the stamp DEMF 2001.

Releases 10-14 were initially released each on a different coloured vinyl, in highly limited amounts (typically about 100 copies exist for each). This was followed by a regular black vinyl release.
