MetroJazz was a jazz subsidiary of MGM active from October 1958 to mid 1960. 15 titles were released, most of which were available in stereo as well as mono. at MGM hired , author of "The Encyclopedia Of Jazz", to head A&R at the label. The MetroJazz label was orange/red with black print and the logo had the MGM lion inside the "o".
