Phonokol (Hebrew: פונוקול) is one of the leading independent record labels in Israel, specializing in trance, dance and club music. In 1989 with the outbreak of techno and electronic music, Phonokol established the first underground and electronic music label. In the early 90'swith the success of the label and the development of electronic music into mainstream. Phonokol continued to develop the different styles. In 1994 the first "Trust in Trance" album was released in a joint production between Phonokol and Astral Projection and together the label Trust In Trance Records came to life to produce many successful compilation CDs sold worldwide.
