TIP Records became an influential label in the history of goa trance. TIP was amongst the first to embrace a darker sound in goa trance and the techtrance sound (Organic Noise) before the label folded in 1998 after the collapse of their distributor .
The label reappeared under the new name of TIP.World in 1999, with a relatively new artist roster, new distributor and new electro and breaks sub label 10 Kilo.

TIP Records relaunched in November 2009 and is currently based in London, UK.
