Weill Recital Hall, officially "Joan and Sanford I. Weill Recital Hall," is an American concert venue and 268-seat auditorium inside the renowned Carnegie Hall in New York City. Opened in 1891 and originally named "Chamber Music Hall," it was located in the lateral building east of the main hall. The auditorium was renamed to "Carnegie Recital Hall" in the late 1940s, and re-inaugurated in January 1987 in the honor of US financier and philanthropist, Sanford I. "Sandy" Weill (b. 1933), a former Chairman of The Carnegie Hall Corporation board, and his wife, Joan H. Mosher.
