The first album to be released was "Perfect Crime" by in 2007, one of the many bands in which Ritchie himself is involved as a musician. Other releases include recordings by musician friends such as , , , and many others.
The label was closed in October 2020. Since April 2021 the former Drumming Monkey co-owner Roman Thiel has been running his new label and also manages the Drumming Monkey Records back catalogue through the new company.
