Me First Records was a Grrrl Edge (female straight-edge movement) founded by Iza Mokrosz, Joanne Grounds, Lisa Pereira and Naomi Freeman. The same girls also operated a fanzine of the same name. Most of them were also active in the Toronto hardcore scene in other ways as concert promoters, photographers and general band supporters.
