EMI Music Malaysia is not a label - but a company.
As with other EMI operations in most Asian countries, EMI withdrew from Malaysian market in 2008, with its catalogue and releases (including international albums) being licensed to Warner Music Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (along with the Warner Music Malaysia logo) until 2013, in which due to the merger with Universal Music, its song copyrights were transferred to Universal Music Sdn. Bhd. (see also Universal Music Malaysia)
EMI Music Malaysia also had its own logo. However, almost all releases credited EMI Music Malaysia as EMI (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
This company may be found in Hong Kong album releases during mainly 2003 - 2005, together with EMI Music Hong Kong and EMI Music Singapore.
