VMP stands for: Valentine Music Productions.

VMP produced an almost prolific number of dance compilations in the mid-nineties, with many of the tracks licensed from Italian and European labels. The vast majority of these compilations were unmixed, and the tracks acquired from high-quality sources.

VMP releases were exported to Australia, America and other countries.

NOTE: For early releases (up to around 1997), the catalog number actually correlates to the date of release. For example: a release with the CAT# 230795-2 means the CD was released on 23/07/1995. The same rule does not apply for later releases of their discography.
