American funk band, formed in 1970 on Long Island, New York. Originally known Bobby Boyd Congress, they changed their name to Ice after they relocated to France in 1971 and their original vocalist Bobby Boyd (2) left.

In Paris they met , for whom they became the house session band at his . Following their first album, they began to weave African music into their original funk rock style. Jaubert then urged them to change their name to .

In 1974 they reverted the band name back to Ice. By 1976 success faded in Europe and the band focused on Japan, using the alias and , as well as their normal band name. Their music also became more influenced by disco. The band fell apart and disbanded in 1978.
