The project "Songs Between Cities And Waterholes" took place in 1992, as a European stage tour and a recording. On stage and in studio, this became a mixture of four independent characters and many musical ideas and influences. It was a unique co-operation between Chris Cutler (drums), Sten Sandell (keyboard, piano vocals), Lars “Lach'n” Jonsson (vocals, violin, percussion) and Niklas Billström (bass). The result was a music beyond borders and traditions, an expression between cultures, between ancient and modern forms.

Four songs were released on a CD-Ep in 1993 with live- and studio material, edited and mixed at “The Forest” by Lachen Jonsson. When that edition was sold out, a longer CD was released, containing the previous EP with more live songs from the tour in 1992 and also three newer songs, which were composed and demo-recorded in 1993 for a second tour – that never took place.

The group was reunited for two concerts in Sweden in 2014.
