Ahmed Liyou was a blind Moroccan singer who sang 'mdeih (supplication songs about the Prophet Mohammed), plus some outdoorsy religious singing style known as 'helkha' or 'the circle', and the usual 'qassidat' or famous east-coast poetry style.
