Polish black/doom metal project founded in 2015 by guitarist and composer Krzysztof Drabikowski. The live lineup often features up to eight session/guest musicians. Known for blending Orthodox liturgical chants with atmospheric black metal. Since its formation, Drabikowski has remained the sole consistent member.

In December 2018, Drabikowski announced that he had dismissed vocalist from the group, accusing him of attempting to take control of the name. From 2019 to 2024, two separate bands operated under the Батюшка name: one led by Drabikowski (the original founder) and another led by Krysiuk. Following a legal dispute that concluded in May 2024, Krysiuk’s band was required to change its name and now performs as Патриархь (Patriarkh).
