American bassist Rob Redick was a member of hardcore punk band Spunk (5). He later served a a guitar tech on tour for the alternative country band 16 Horsepower and briefly became the bassist for a few months in 1996. He later was a touring member of the alternative rock band Dig. In 1999, he replaced Bardi Martin in grunge band Candlebox until the band broke up in 2000.
