Binary Squad is a French electronic music duo from Toulouse. The project was formed in the early 2010s after its two members met at a school in Montpellier, where they studied sound and audiovisual production. After becoming friends, they began producing music together and created Binary Squad.

Initially focused on hardtek and various styles associated with the free party scene, the duo gradually developed a broader musical direction, now described as rave music and hard music, with influences from hard techno.

The duo does not seek to remain within a single musical style. Its members describe their approach as a way of telling stories and conveying emotions through rhythms and grooves. Their music is produced using Ableton Live, which is also used during their performances.

Since their first appearances in the mid-2010s, Binary Squad have performed extensively in France and abroad at events connected to the rave and hard techno scenes.
