He recorded two sessions for Vocalion in Chicago, the first in 1936 was left unissued, the second in 1938 produced two 78s and two more titles has later been released on LP and CD. He also accompanied James Hall (7), Frankie Jones (5), and Black Bottom McPhail on the same date as his own 1938 session.
