Cellist born in Larisa, Greece, in 1970.

He grew up in Thessaloniki, but moved to Paris, France in 1988 to study cello, with Philippe Muller and Reine Flachot. In 1996 he moved to Brazil. He was Professor of Cello at the State University of Sao Paulo - UNICAMP for a decade. In 2015, he moved back to Greece.

He has performed with Max Roach, Sephan Grapelli, Hermeto Paschoal and Egberto Gismonti, among many others. In 2003 he was granted the Carlos Gomes Award for Best Soloist. He is a Professor at University of Campinas (Unicamp).
