Boddhi Satva was born and raised in Central African Republic, where he got involved in producing and rapping in some hip-hop groups with friends. Since 2000 he has been based in Brussels. He is noted for his work in ‘ancestral soul’, a blend of house music infused with spirituality and a tapestry of African music styles.
