U.S. alternative rock band who formed during late 1991 in Athens, Georgia. They played their first live show on February 20th 1992, and were active until January 16th 1995. Thirty years later, Sugar reconvened during June 2025. The trio consists of Bob Mould (Hüsker Dü): vocals/guitar, Davis Barbe (Mercyland); bass/backing vocals and Malcolm Travis (The Zulus (2) / Human Sexual Response): drums/percussion.
