Ivan Winke, a Chicago-born, Melbourne-based artist, DJ, producer, and remixer, is the creative force behind his solo projects Ivan Winke and Shamanavi, as well as his side projects Pro Test, Shamanavi & Pale Horse, Shamanavi & Pro Test, and Shamanavi & Roaring Lion.

Growing up on the southwest side of Chicago, Ivan was immersed in a rich environment of artistic expression and diverse musical influences from a young age. In December 1997, at the age of 15, he began his path as a DJ, performing at nightclubs, parties, and restaurants across the Chicagoland area. By 17, he invested in more equipment, such as computers, drum machines, sequencers, and synthesizers, allowing him to explore and create a broad spectrum of music that mirrors his inner and outer worlds, both physically and spiritually.

Ivan has remixed a wide range of artists, including Astrix, Blu Mar Ten, Depeche Mode, Massive Attack, The Prodigy, and Sasha. His performances have spanned across America, Australia, and Iceland, with notable appearances in cities such as Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Sydney, Melbourne, and Reykjavík, as well as at festivals like Gamma Festival (2007), Dragon Dreaming Festival (2014), and Rainbow Serpent Festival (2011, 2013-2016).
