Swiss conductor (born: 14 April 1945, Zürich, Switzerland).

He was a répétiteur at the Zürich Opera since 1964, then in 1968 appointed conductor there, in 1976 he took up the post of General Music Director in Lübeck, from 1991 until 1998 he was the Principal Conductor of the Theatre and Orchestra in Essen.
