Uwimana (Daughter of Jah) also known as Sister Benji originally from Jamaica currently resides in the UK and works with the community & children services. Became involved in music as a 'hobby' in the late '70s as a part of an acapello / groundation singing group of Rastafarian Sistrin called The Ras Angels. Years of performances and songwriting and the opportunity of supporting various communities globally via fund-raising shows/events. Started recording as a solo artist with Jah Youth & Jerry Lionz around 1998. First 7" releases in 2010 - Empress Menen - followed by the 10" Save The Children.
