Its history begins in Havana where Carlos studied art, painting, restoration and engraving, and Erik advanced studies of English. His fondness for music united them one day but his dreams of working professionally as disc jockeys on the island of Fidel Castro were unreachable.

First because there are no CD's and to mix they had to do with cassettes and secondly, since they were students, they had no right to be paid for their work and all they received was free entrance to the disco and some food. And third, Cuban record companies are only interested in recording the typical music of the island because that is what tourists buy.

This was how in April 1995 they arrived without a cent in Paris (France), thanks to an invitation from the government of that country; they the musical contest of La Coupule and saw then that their future could be in France.

They were located in the Montecristo Café where they worked as bar backs and disc jockeys, while they began to write and to compose their songs in French, as they have denominated their mixture of French and Spanish.

Their first success; the radio stations Radio Latina and Radio Nova touched their first song release; Carnavalera.

The success did not wait and immediately received proposals to record an entire album; with which they have already achieved a Gold Record in sales titled "1830". This product reached Latin America and the phenomenon has continued to multiply in each of our countries.

A few weeks ago, Erik and Carlos visited Colombia to present their new single "", original Gibson Brothers in the seventies.

Within this record production stand out themes such as Mayoral, Carnavalera, Tu Piel, Candela, Futboleros and Illegal, among others.

Havana Delirio has definitely accomplished its purpose: to tear down the walls between musical genres and bring the regime of the party to power, mixing Cuban salsa with Latin house and other trendy rhythms.

Little by little this Cuban group has managed to impose its name on the international scene, conquering lovers of modern rhythms, loaded with enthusiasm and dynamism, characteristics that make them also appear as exponents of hip hop, that rhythm that imposes itself every day with more force.

This is Havana Delirio, a group that came to stay.
