Mikhail Ilyich Senchurov - Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (1993), Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2005), Professor, Head of the Department of Stringed Folk Instruments.
He graduated from the Syktyvkar Musical College (teacher Fisun V. A.), the Leningrad State Conservatory and an assistant traineeship in the class of Professor A. B. Shalov. Laureate of the II All-Russian competition of performers on folk instruments (II prize, 1979). Permanent creative contact with the orchestra V. V. Andreeva, numerous recordings with this group on the radio, tours in Japan, America, Finland, Switzerland. Commonwealth with the ensemble "Skomorokhi" (leader Victor Akulovich).
