Mike Pagliosa (Vamp) has been playing guitar since the age of sixteen. After founding his first punk band "Screen" in Frankfurt (Mainhattan) in 1977, he moved to Berlin in 1979.

In the early '80s, he worked in Berlin as a solo artist and with various bands across different music genres, until he met David Harrow (Anne Clark). Through this musical friendship, which continues to this day, he acquired his first knowledge of studio techniques and various electronic sound generators. This led to his first releases — initially independent, later commercially with BMG Germany.

In the late '80s, he moved to London for two years to collaborate with musicians and producers and to conduct sound research.

In the early '90s, he joined the Berlin-based band "Space Cowboys" and became a member of the "Ocean Club", founded by Thomas Fehlmann and Gudrun Gut. After the German techno wave slowed down in 1998, he and DJ Clé (E-Werk) — following their first joint production exclusively for actress Katharina Thalbach — founded the projects 'Märtini Brös' (Poker Flat Recordings) and "Artist Unknown" (Disko B). He produced all albums for both projects independently, followed by remixes for 2-Raumwohnung (Gold), Scissor Sisters, Tocotronic, The Human League, Florian Stockhausen and many others.

In 2012, Mike Vamp began working on his third solo album with David Harrow (Anne Clark, Dub Syndicate, Oicho), who is now based in Los Angeles. Mike and David completed the album "Diamonds & Dust" in 2019 under the name Vamp & Harrow — a compelling blend of David Harrow's electronic expertise and Mike Vamp's guitar work.

In 2019, the successful project Maertini Broes celebrated its 20th anniversary with Pokerflat Recordings. Suddenly back in the spotlight of the dancefloor, Maertini Broes (aka Märtini Brös) released remixes by Butch, Mathias Kaden, and Michael Mayer.

Mike Vamp's passion for music production is connecting digital with analog components. In songwriting, he embraces pop influences, inspired by his Italian roots. As a long-time live performer and DJ, he knows which musical structures work best in which environment — or simply put: the kids wanna rock!
