Cesar Morgado was a Portuguese Fado singer.

He was born 20 November 1931, Lisbon, Portugal and died 7 April 1974, Porto, Portugal.

He started singing Fado at a young age. At age 11 he sang publicly for the first time in a circus tent in Caramao da Ajuda. He was a locksmith by profession and sang fado as an amateur until he was hired to sing at the restaurant bar "Nau Catrinetta" in Alfama. In 1958 he won the "Golden Guitar" at the old Cafe Luso and then went on to appear on Portuguese television in the 1960s.

He recorded a dozen or so EPs and handful of LPs during his career.

He is the brother of fado singer Leopoldo Morgado and great uncle of singer Mia Morgado.
