Cast your mind back to 1991 and you’ll recall the phenomenon that was bleep-techno. The genre blended elements of house, acid house and 80s chip-music into a unique new sound. At the forefront of the movement was Chill Records, an independent label based in Luton, England. One of the pioneering artists of the genre was Rotor, a then 18-year-old software developer from Dunstable, England, named Andrew Wright. Using just a Commodore Amiga A500 and some clever trickery, Andrew produced legendary anthems that defined the era, two of which ranked in the Gallup Dance Chart.
