British guitar player from Sunderland, Tyne and Wear.
Dickie Hammond was best known for his contributions to the UK punk scene.
He first made his mark with the band HDQ, playing on their debut album Hung, Drawn and Quartered (1985).
Hammond later became involved in several other projects, including the Oi! punk band Zone 57.
In mid-August 2014, Hammond was admitted to hospital, and he sadly passed away on 31 October 2015.
